About Us

Kasrah

Software for the Muslim world.

Kasrah is an independent app studio founded in 2026, dedicated to building consumer software that serves Muslim communities around the world. Every product we ship starts with a single question: what does this community actually need?

We are based in Seattle, Washington. We work small on purpose — lean teams, deliberate products, no filler.

Technology rooted in faith and built for the long term.

The Muslim community is one of the most connected, globally distributed, and underserved communities in the software industry. Kasrah exists to change that — not by building the same app with an Islamic coat of paint, but by rethinking what these tools should actually do and who they should serve.

We approach every product with obsessive attention to design, ruthless simplicity in execution, and a deep respect for the values of the people using it. We pledge a portion of revenue to humanitarian relief.

Products

How we work.

Sincerity over metrics

We design for genuine behavior change, not engagement loops. No streaks. No guilt.

Design-first

Our products are judged by the people using them. We invest where it shows.

Community-rooted

We build from inside the community — not looking in from outside.

Long-term thinking

We build software meant to last — not to flip, not to pivot, not to grow at any cost.

Abdulrashid — Founder & Developer

Abdulrashid started Kasrah after years of building software independently and noticing a consistent gap: products for Muslim users were either low-quality, poorly designed, or built by people outside the community who didn't fully understand its needs.

A self-taught developer with deep roots in the Muslim community — including travel to Muslim communities worldwide and raised in the west — Abdulrashid brings both the technical skills and the lived perspective needed to build products that actually resonate.

He has visited Muslim communities in over 6 countries across 3 continents and draws on those experiences when thinking about what software should look like for a truly global ummah.
